Very busy day

Radio question of the day:

33 percent of us do this in the kitchen. 25 percent in the bedroom? What is it?

******************************

Today is a very busy day for me. I have lots to do including shopping for Christmas Day food and person-sitting dddragon's MIL. No time to write. But, of course, I'll read. You don't get to say that you are busy. I said it first. I'd have nothing to read tonight if you claim that you have a life too.

You guys have a nice day. Somewhere else. And I mean that in the best possible way.

Answer to the question of the day:
What do 33 percent of us do this in the kitchen and 25 percent in the bedroom?

A: Wrap Christmas presents.

I have plenty of time, but not much to say. Cleaning out my storage room. It's small, but I've packed a lot of junk in there (high ceilings)!

TLP, you're a pill!

Huh. Of course, I'd NEVER wrap in the kitchen, even if we had more counter space! I wrap in my room.

I did it in my bedroom last night. For HOURS!

I read the question kitchen and BATHROOM first. I thought, who the hell wraps presents in the bathroom?? Sickos.

Wrapping Christmas presents in the kitchen?

Hah, not in Manhattan with galley like kitchens... I used to sit in the middle of the living room floor just like Libby.

But when I was in the bedroom for HOURS, I was usually "unwrapping" presents ssshhhh

I'm relieved to learn that most people don't wrap gifts in the bathroom.

I am cheating this year...left-over gift bags from last year. All i need is some tissue paper, and i am all done. & All my shopping is complete, the tree is trimmed and i do not have to cook, as i have 3 other places to eat for christmas eve and christmas day. (lots of food!)... This will be my first christmas that i am not shopping and wrapping on decemeber 23rd. (we do presents in my family on christmas eve, so i have 1 less day...)

Have fun!

Dining table. ( only decent table in the apartment the right height. Creaky knees made the wrapping process on floor impossible.

Christmas is about CHRIST, not wrapping presents. Prepare ye the way of the LORD!

Busy --- i know that feeling.

I wrap our presents on the living room floor. When my son was little i did it on Chrismtas Eve..after he went to bed - while watching Scrooge. Was my little tradition. Nowdays Scrooge isn't always on Christmas Eve - course i could just buy the DVD - but it just wouldn't be the same.

I wrap in my garage, where the design tables are at waist height so I don't ruin my back in the process.
