More travels with Bonnie

On Sunday I took Bonnie and daughter formerly known as Lucinda Sans to see Ghosts of the Abyss. This is a 3-D movie shown at an IMAX theater. It's about the Titanic. There was also a Titanic artifact exhibiton at the museum connected to the theater. Pretty good, not great. Came home and collected my husband, then went out for Mexican food.

Today, dddragon and her twins went with us to a Barbeque place called Memphis Blues. Good food. We always wonder if we're good customers, now that we "know" Jevanking.

Tomorrow EARLY my husband and I are taking Bonnie to Ocean City, Maryland. It turns out that Bonnie has never seen the Atlantic. I figure that's just wrong. She leaves on Thursday. Somehow I had thought that it was Friday. I made the reservations myself, which just proves how forgetful I am. So the end is in sight.

The BAS system actually includes throat clearing. Thanks to Lazy Iguana for the BAS acronym.

So it's dry sniff, sniff, clear throat, sniff, sniff...RUN.

lol - we were talking about you @ lunch. Kiddie B was the first to finish her drink and ask for a refill ... of water. Dad had also gotten water, so he had his lemon (came with it, unasked) so he had Kiddie B's first and second lemon slice. Dad promptly said "they'll think I'm trying to make lemonade."

I have never seen The Pacific. When are you going to spot me a plane ticket to California? Actually - scratch that. Washington State would be more my speed.

Then I could rent a car and drive to Alaska. I could not only see The Pacific, but the Gulf Of Alaska too!

And I could drive North into the Arctic Circle, and into Deadhorse - following the Alaska Pipeline. I would end up at yet another ocean I have never seen, The Arctic Ocean.

All that traveling and eating at restruants and seeing the ocean sounds so great.

I laughed at your choice of restaurant. Very smart. Make her homesick.

I went to Ocean City about ten years ago. We were supposed to go to the Outer Banks, but a hurricane went through and messed up our intended rental.

Ocean City was really crowded, but we had a good time hanging on the beach.

In between the sniffs and the ramblings, it sounds like you are getting out to see some wonderful and exciting places with your family.

I hope the rest of your week is peaceful.

I'm starting to get worried, Tan Lucy. You've posted every day since Bonnie arrived, but there was nothing yesterday ...

I think they're in Ocean City, MD, overnight... Tan might not have computer access for a few days.

Anything having to do with the Titanic always captivates me. I loved the movie and I've watched every program on TV about it.
I'm sure the IMAX movie was superb!
I'm in L.A. and will be flying home this afternoon. Courtney and I will be going through over 300 pics we took and I will choose several to post. It will be hard to choose which ones are most worthy! Please stop by and visit later tonight or tomorrow to see pictures from our wonderful trip.
