Your personal perfect day

Yesterday was absolutely beautiful. Perfect. Today was terrific again.

Blue sky, low humidity, just-right temperature. Just one tiny touch of autumn in the air. Ah, so perfect.

So, if you had this perfect day, and you had no obligations to fulfill on this perfect day, what would you do with the day?

Hope for my brother-in-law to show up, of course!

Absolutely nothing. It's what I'm best at!

Seriously, I'd sit and take it all in.

this is perfect weather to sit outside & read a book & sniff the leaves getting ready to change color!

Buy a bottle of wine, get some cool food, dump the kids off at their friends house, and head out with The Missus to find a great spot.

Heck, I think we'll need more than one bottle.

I'd go to a spa for half the day (facial, massage, mani and pedi) then I'd swim and lounge around drinking fresh squeezed juices.

Sit outside with a good book or go for a ride, if the price of gas was right.

Yup...we have about the same weather, Lucy. I'm just over here in Connecticut! And you're right...it's been GORGEOUS outside! This is my favorite kind of weather. Comfortable temperatures with low humidity. Ahhh...

A perfect day? My days are all perfect lately - except for the hours I spend at work. Those hours are lousy. If only I could find a way to pay my bills without working.

I had one of those on Monday. It was warm but not hot with a lovely cool breeze and an occasional gust. We stayed outdoors as much as possible to revel in it all.
We went to a local water park for young kids where the kids could go down loopy waterslides and splash in fountains and run through waterfalls.

We also wandered through and arts and crafts show, and bought a couple mementos.

We drove about with the sunroof open and the windows down.

We ate icecream, drank fresh-squeezed lemonade made with crunchy sugar on the bottom, and snacked on funnel cakes.

A perfect day.

I would put the boat in the water and burn up 20 or so gallons of gasoline.

I'd go to the beach with Me Wonder Woman Pez, or go to the state park with Anex Snoopy Pez.

I would play with my dogs, take them for a walk, play in the dog park, and nap in the warm afternoon sun.

I'd take my little girl home to my desert and show her the wonders of big red rocks and blue sky.

I´d get outsid eof town. Saddle my horse and take a book and some water. I would ride into new areas and when both of us are tired we´d rest, I´d get my book and read while my horse would enjoy the gras! That would be perfect.
And sometimes, I get to do just that!

Monika, throw in a bottle of whiskey and a cold spring and you just described my favorite perfect day activities until I moved to Atlanta.

I walked at 6:30 AM both of these beautiful mornings. There was a fog-mist hugging the ground at the lovely park where I walk with a friend. We saw the sunrises both days, which reminded me that the days are getting shorter.

Today is another pretty-darn-nice day, and unlike the other two days, I don't have any later obligations. So I'm leaving the house now, driving to Hershey and walking first, and then SHOPPING IN THE OUTLETS. Because I'm a sick and twisted person. Love to shop.

Everyday that I wake up and am still alive is a great day!

I'm not sure what I would do actually, because it seems like those perfect days always seem to happen on my work days. But I'm sure if such a daay happened on a weekend day I wiuld have no trouble finding a way to enjoy it.

...By the way, there has been no apparent interest in my puzzle. You were the only one to comment on it. Oh well, that group of letters was: in order the letters I had to type to comment on some of the sites. The tricky part was the ones that spelled actual words. But those were what I was instructed to type.

I'd read a little, take a walk outside, and do a little a little shopping where everything I tried on fit, looked great, and was a smaller size than I've worn in quite some time. Oh wait, that last part about the shopping actually did happen today! Does that make this a semi-perfect day? :)

I would wake up a little late and a little slow and no-one would be the wiser.

Bottle of wine, good book, frisbee, big blanket spread out in a peaceful park where there are lots of birds and people flying kites in a meadow.... aaaaahhhh. And no mosquitoes!!! In Central Texas we won't get that kind of a day for another month or 2... or 3.

Oh, I'm already semi-retired so there are periods when I have all the time in the world - not at the moment, though.

I would get my bike and cycle along the Thames (I've never done it but I bet it's lovely). Then I would have a cream tea or an ice-cream in a nice little tearoom somewhere. As long as the weather was nice, of course.

When I lived in Nice, I used to walk along the Promenade des Anglais early in the morning before going to school (it wasn't on my way at all), before all the tourists flocked there. The light was slightly pink and the sea pale blue. It was wonderful. :-)
