What I learned today

I said that I was going to learn something every day. So here's what I learned today.

It takes forty pigs to make four thousand sausages.

Isn't it amazing what you can teach them?

Have you changed your email from AOL as listed in your profile ? I had an email bounce back that I sent you, it was only a comment, nuthin' important.

No, 3D, didn't go there yet. I was babysitting your MIL.

Peter! I wondered what was happening to my mail! Honestly. I haven't had mail in days. Huh!

Huh, see, I learned something here. I didn't know pigs could make sausages. Your blog is so edu-ma-cational. But who's going to eat all those sausages?

Sylvie said...

Yeah, but can they make bratwurst?

a better question is....how many different kinds of animals are there in one cheap brand hot dog?? hmmmmm??

Pork chops sound good to me! Can I borrow that battle axe of yours?

And we humans think we all are so f-different. Even pigs live in different stables, eating different food and follow differetn paths.
40 pigs for 4.000 sausages? Germany must have many pigs, we love sausages.

OK..i'm learning a lot here. Time to start thinking about my diploma from TLP University...or the Pez University. Ha ha ha. You could be famous..having a university named after you and all.

LOL! That was great! I must have been a very tired blond 'cause when I read this post last night I didn't get it at all. Thanks for the morning laugh!

I think the sadder part of all of this is that I am actually learning something. You can't really underestimate the power of knowing the history behind your breakfast food.

I hate sausage. And try to go with as little meat as possible in my diet... because I've learned how meats are processed and it just ain't pretty. If I have to choose, I go with slabs of meat over anything that's ground up, cuz you just don't know what's in there... :P
