Hey Lucy that's a pretty common look for mondays isn't it.
You know there is a brighter side to your post - you can recycle that picture again when the first of the month happens to fall on a Monday. Garfield curmudgeonly participates in Lagomania. :)

Yeah, actonbell's hubby would know, without looking at a calendar, the next time a first of the month fell on a Monday.
True, I'm retired, BUT, every Monday, I babysit daughter dddragon's MIL. BUT after I posted this, I got a call telling me that I get a holiday from that today!
My daughter drove to work today and NO ONE was there. The place was locked up tight. She works part time and was told there would be a holiday break for two weeks, Well... it's been two weeks, so somebody didn't give her the correct info. What a way to start the year, huh?

lucy...my mom's 83, and still sets her alarm & gets up EVERY MORNING at 7!! & she's never worked (except at being a mom) since 1950!
It is such a hard thing for Monday to follow teh act of Sunday. Give it a chance! I am only this cheery because I had a day off from work :) Instead I got the full blown period pain from hell...sometimes Mother Nature deserves a slap!!!

Well not quite...we had The Rose Parade and a lot of Bowl Games!!! On A Monday....gee, maybe they should do this all the time..to take the curse off Mondays! Isn't that a good idea???

Bank Holiday Mondays are the only Mondays I don't mind and today was one of those.:-)
