Hey Lucy that's a pretty common look for mondays isn't it.

You know there is a brighter side to your post - you can recycle that picture again when the first of the month happens to fall on a Monday. Garfield curmudgeonly participates in Lagomania. :)

Aren't you retired?

dddragon said...

yeah, anyway!

Good point, Sar! Love that picture! Of course, Ekim would know off the top of his head when you can do that.

I'm off today, too.

Yeah, actonbell's hubby would know, without looking at a calendar, the next time a first of the month fell on a Monday.

True, I'm retired, BUT, every Monday, I babysit daughter dddragon's MIL. BUT after I posted this, I got a call telling me that I get a holiday from that today!

My daughter drove to work today and NO ONE was there. The place was locked up tight. She works part time and was told there would be a holiday break for two weeks, Well... it's been two weeks, so somebody didn't give her the correct info. What a way to start the year, huh?

Tibbar, Tibbar!
Tibbar, Tibbar!
Tibbar, Tibbar!
I hope that does it!
Thanks for the tip.

Monday? Wednesday? Saturday? Hey I'm retired! I just don't care! Just love grumpy ol' Garfield though! ;-)

Did I say.... Happy New Year!!!

I think I need to invent a week without Mondays. Let me think about it.

ODIM?

What's Garfield's unluckiest day? Monday the 13th. Har. Har.

It is such a hard thing for Monday to follow teh act of Sunday. Give it a chance! I am only this cheery because I had a day off from work :) Instead I got the full blown period pain from hell...sometimes Mother Nature deserves a slap!!!
Did I just share too much?:)

I just don't do mornings...i think i still have a poster from when i was a kid somewhere with Garfield saying that...:)

Yup! Back to the old grindstone....
Well not quite...we had The Rose Parade and a lot of Bowl Games!!! On A Monday....gee, maybe they should do this all the time..to take the curse off Mondays! Isn't that a good idea???

Monday's are great! You get to go back to work and see your friends and earn your living and get paid! What's not to be happy about??

(Should I Tibbar, Tibbar at this point?) :)
