I'm going to miss it while it's away.
I'll lurk and possibly comment while it's in the shop. I'm in withdrawal already. But it had to be done.

TLP, any chance of your living with Dddragon while the PC is in the shop?
That was a good movie. "They shoot horses, don't they?" There were no computers when that movie was made so we found other ways to be temporarily unhappy.
Anyway, I do sympathize, Pez, if something happened to my peecee I would be very unhappy too. I would even have time to read a book. Wow, what a concept!! ;)
The worst that can happen? You'll have to get yourself a new Tablet PC! Woo woo.
We've buried a few in the backyard with the bones. So sorry to hear.

You can always go to the library and use theirs. That's what I did after mine got fried in a thunderstorm this summer.
They won't shoot it, but they will charge you one of Hoss's piles to fix it.

Actually when I was doing PC tech support some friends I worked with took one of our servers that was on its last leg and shot a brick of 22 shells into it. Well actually more like through it. Trust me the machine had it coming. Anyways I hope your PC makes its way back to you cleaned up and ready to go and that you don't have to go through withdrawl too badly.

My condolences and may it come back to you quickly, TLP.
They don't shoot puters, but they bloody well should, they are demonic FREDs that are not happy unless their caretakers are yanking hair out by the handful.
I'm ready to shoot mine, that's for darned sure! Hope yours gets better soon. Remember to give it plenty of love when it comes home. It may feel a bit out of sorts for being abandoned to the witch doctor but it will forgive you 'ere long.
