No, it's not Christmas yet

Anyone just waking up from a long Rip-van-Winkle sleep would think that they had missed Thanksgiving. The stores are of course full of Christmas decorations now.

But there's still time to have a great Thanksgiving folks, and I hope you do!

'Course, if you're a turkey, I guess it's not so great. I mean a real turkey. You turkeys!

Actually, I've heard that Indians Native Americans don't like Thanksgiving any better than turkeys do.

Have a perfectly delicious dinner on t-day, y'all.

I hope you don't have to do it all yourself.

I heard a rumor that the Native Americans ate dogs, but the Pilgrims insisted on Turkey. To me, that is something to be thankful about.

Icy, the small things one's life turns on, huh?

The second cartoon is just too funny!

Luckily, I don't have to do any of it! Love the cartoons, Lucy. I hope that you and your family will have a great holiday!

Here the Christmas decorations came out before Halloween. OC and I aren't doing the commercial stuff this year. We don't want to feed the monster.

Hmmm...I think I will let Thanksgiving roll by this year as well, partly because I am lazy, have no family and the pilgrims never made it to Iceland :) We got a bunch of Vikings here instead and you can imagine that any national holiday here involves tough chewing ;)

Funny cartoons, TLP. The last one seems especially TLPish.

The turkey in the santa hat is the perfect symbol for the season.

Happy Thanksgiving Lucy.

It always seems like bad planning to have Thanks giving and Christmas so close together. But what do I know?

Those are some great cartoons!

Does this mean that you won't post again until after Thanksgiving?

Ewwww! The last one is funny, but well, it is a sorry business cutting off the head of your fowl. At least the turkey was a practical sort. Great cartoons TLP.

Happy Thanksgiving, TLP et al!

The top cartoon was adding insult to injury!
When I was a kid we had chickens. Because the hens were useful for laying eggs, it was the extra roosters that got used for food. My father was responsible for that. I would go run and hide in the house. But I would help de-feather them.
I tried to become a vegeterian but I started feeling weak and woozy and went back to my carniverous ways.

I feel bad now: we're doing two turkeys and having a bunch of turkeys over for dinner, too. He, he.

Have a Merry Turkey Holiday.

tlp-those were good cartoons! and i have to tell you, when i went out a couple days before halloween for more candy (for the trick-or-treaters, of course!)...all the aisles toward the front of the store were full of santas, candy canes, wreaths, and the candy for halloween was behind that!

I think that the Christmas crap comes out too early. Come on. What the hell does a snowman have to do with some dude's birthday anyway?

It is sort of nice for us in South Florida however. I would totally forget that it is winter if the snowmen decorations and shit were removed.

I have not told my family that I plan to bail out for Thanksgiving dinner. Some chick invited me over for Thanksgiving. The only people there will be me, the chick, her chick roommate, her mother, and me.

I am going to make more moves than Allied Van Lines. Alcohol will help in that department.
