Eye candy

Libby commented that I live close to Hershey PA and Chocolate World. I sure do! The day after Valentine's Day (or VD as some call it, or maybe it's a day to catch it, I forget), my friend Leah and I went out to Hershey and took the tour again. There's a display there now featuring dresses made from various Hershey products. Some use wrappers and some use the candy itself! Whoa! There's a Twizzler dress! I wish I had thought to take pictures. But you can view them yourself, if you want, by going to the Hershey's Project Runway: Eye Candy site. I've linked it above.

They are actually going to auction these dresses for a charity. Twizzlers aren't my very favorite, but let's face it: if I bought it, I'd eat it. Cheaper to buy a pack of Twizzlers.

There are all kinds of shops there, called shoppes, where you can buy soooooooo much candy.

These shoppes above mostly feature gifts. If you ever buy me a gift at a candy shoppe, make it chocolate. Forget the teeshirts.

I've made myself hungry now. Surprise, surprise, surprise.

I made fudge yesterday. I used Hershey's chocolate. That's a good thing or I'd be jealous right now.

When I was deep in the throes of the New York City Marathon in 2006 and flagging, my running buddy brought me a twizzler. Boy did that perk me up so I could finish. If someone had been standing close by with Twizzler clothes on I would have eaten it right off of them at milepost 22! Beware!

I don't know what it is with bloggers today, but you are the third or fourth who has blogged about chocolate. I have to say shaddup already! (Sorry)

Perhaps you should go for the t shirt while you can still fit into it??

I love the last photo. I could sit down in front of those shelves and meditating about life forever.

I haven't had any chocolate since the beginning of October. I want to see how long I can go without. I have a slight intolerance to it and feel much better when there's no chocolate in my system. If only my mouth didn't like it so much!

Mustn't carry on talking about otherwise....

Erratum: please insert 'it' after 'about' in last sentence. :-)

Somebody bought me some chocolate called Moon Mist. Was 10 on a scale of 9-10.

All that chocolate and you live so close to it!! What a temptation!!

I'm with you. Give me the chocolate instead of the teeshirt!!

Mmm...chocolate. Of course, now I'm thinking of Twizzlers too.

Anyway, I saw this PEZ COLLECTION, but there seem to be some glaring ommissions.

Hershey PA was one of the first vacations my dysfunction family shared. I still remember the five dollar bill that Dad gave each of us to go buy candy. This was 30 years ago....so yes, there was a lot. Still recall the three of us kids taking turns puking out the windows during the several hour ride back home. Good times.

Oh My God...ALL the Chocolate Candy looks FANTASTIC! Now, I'm Hungry, too!!! (LOL)
I saw that Project Runway Challange and thought it was quite brilliant! A GREAT idea for the designers....! Their "finale" is these next two Wednesdays...I am very interested to see what the remaining FOUR have designed for their collection. A talented group, aren't they?
