You are bored? You know what I found myself doing today? Measuring blades of grass in the lawn. Now THAT is bored.

Come on up to Maine and we can sit on a beach and be bored together.

I hate this time of year. Summer is coming to an end, unrelenting heat, end of fun. I don't know whether to be glad or sad.

Find something to do, Lucy! I'm too busy to be bored.

I hate when I get like that. I just sit and stare at the wall, my eyes crossed and glazed over, my mind mush and I can't manage to find anything interesting. I bet this isn't helping. Sorry. I had to stand on my head to read half your post then fall over to read the other half. I'm not thinking straight.

very cute! Where do you go when you are bored out of your skull?

Light something on fire- that always works for me.

If all else fails go someplace exotic, like Thailand. Sit on a beach for hours and eat lots of banana pancakes. Then it's not being bored, it's a vacation. You're not lazy, you're relaxing. Everyone will sigh with desire at your vacation photos and wish they could be so bored, too.

I don't know the meaning of the word. The only times I've been bored it was because I was with boring people, otherwise never. There are soooo many things to do and not enough time to do them.

TLP! How dare you make me stand on my head! Now the top of my head is flat.

The word verification is "deanaus." Where do some of these come from?

@Lazy:
I used to sit out on the lawn, pluck blades of grass and split them in half. I still haven't figured out whether I was easily amused or bored. Also I would sometimes tear up handfuls of grass just for the hell of it. I'm not sure whether that would label me bored or destructive.

I don't see how turning my monitor upside will help if I can't read.
