Think Snow!

Radio Question of the Day:

Office workers say this is the # 1 reason they "flirt" at work...
What is it?

********************************

It has cooled off some here. In the 40's or 50's today. Big deal. But tonight it's supposed to get down below freezing. Heck, the ski area where the grandtwins go (pictured above) can't even make snow in this weather. So if you love snow, think snow! If you don't like it, (what's wrong with you anyway?) think snow that just coats the grassy areas and not the streets and sidewalks. Or, think snow that just shuts down everything so that you have to curl up with hot chocolate. The kind where the governor declares it illegal to drive. You know, the good stuff.

Answer to the Radio Question of the Day:

To get someone to do their work for them.
Well, duh. That's a no brainer. Also see: I know when I'm being used, but damn, it's fun.

Sadly, that crap usually works on me. Usually. There is the NFC rule in place.

I love snow and the more the better. It's 70 here of course. Someone remind me why I live in Southern California.

Does that really happen? seems so unlikely here where the only places it snows regularly is in the mountain areas, there's nothing there but ski slopes and resorts and they sure don't shut them down.

Yes, Peter, it does on rare occasions snow enough that the Governor declares all driving other than emergencies, illegal. We used to get some monster snows. But not since about 1996 I think.

Gee, it's going to be high 60's here tomorrow. So weird... not winter, not spring, not summer, not fall. What the heck is it??

Geez, I thought the reason to flirt at work was to make the day go faster.

since i live in central florida i highly doubt i will even see flurries at all this year, but i certainly hope it snows for you! Build me a snowman if it does!

Now that would certainly make for a white Christmas, one that you need not dream about. Yes I can see that flirting would lighten the work load of some. Thanks for visiting.
Cheers Margaret

well -- according to someone at The Weather Channel, we should be seeing colder temps any day now. i have to say i'll be glad when we do -- one of the joys of living in the east is experiencing the seasons, right? yep, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! (at least long enough to cover up all these brown spots in our yard)

and yes, would someone please tell Doug why he's living in Southern California? i've always wondered about that, too... xoxox

yeah, I wouldn't mind the good stuff -- governor's proclamations and stuff. Instead, I guiltily stay home anyway when it gets icy. I don't have a steel plate and six screws in my neck for nothing ... and I'm not risking them. xoxo

Snow automatically turns to slush here. Blech!

Doug, let's swap places!
