Pez Family Report

My husband and I have been without power since Sunday at 4 AM. We're not staying in our house of course. I don't have easy access to the Internet or e-mail, etc., so I'm not checking blogs. We won't be back at home until at least Tuesday night, and maybe not even then.

Daughter Actonbell is on a cruise, daughter AP3 is probably buried under snow in MA (haven't been able to get in touch with her), daughter 3D has electric power, but no Internet or television. She's had a minor surgery and is at home. If you're going to be home sick, you need one of those two things. No one knows when things will be back to normal.

I'd settle for heat myself. I'm not going to try to do the necessary links for the daughters' blogs because I can't imagine that there's anything new posted there anyway.

Lazy as ever.

Hope you are staying at a great HOT resort, complete with blazing fireplace, heated pool and hottub, lavish king size bed... you know, and candles. If you are staying somewhere else, my condolences. All I can complain about is well, nothing. things aren't too shabby in California. Hope you got lots of vittles too.

Sounds like a good time to burn furniture for cocoa.

I hope you're in a nice hotel with mucho heat and a hot-tub! The last time we lost power for 7 days, mr. kenju was in DC with our daughter in a great, warm apartment and I was stuck here. BAH.

Yeah, furniture, and if you're so lucky and your floor is wood, that's a few more days of heat.

Hope you have a good place now and can go home soon.

Niks and I are fine, just displaced.
We're warm and safe. I do wish that I had better drugs. That would help.

Tom, I never liked ICE, though it was beautiful! I love snow. But as important as I am, I do NOT control the weather. So it's not my fault if someone doesn't like snow and they get some. All we got was an ice storm. LOTS of ice. You could hear trees falling all night. And I do mean WHOLE trees. Impressive.

Power to the homestead might be restored tonight...Right. I believe that. I've heard it daily now....

We have a spare room. I'll scoot the sewing machine and OC's music paraphernalia to one side.
