Not my fault
I would just like to mention that I wanted snow, and lots of it. But it's not my fault that we got a bunch of snow, then inches of sleet on top of that, then freezing rain on top of that.
Our faithful snow-removal service came and dug us out. They couldn't use even their giant snow blowers because the ice and sheet and snow are so HEAVY. They had to use a truck with a scraper to dig out the driveway. Then, poor guys, had to chop and shovel the walk. Yikes. I gave them a HUGE tip on top of the fee. I'm easy, but I ain't cheap.

this is neither your fault nor mine. we clearly requested snow only. we didn't order the slop it came with. i think i need to address this issue with management...
It's nice to have some snow,
But the sleet and ice gotta go!
Yeah, everyone is out with metal shovels or picks to try and break up the ice. It'll take forever to get rid of it!
you are a POWERFUL woman, my friend, and i believe it IS your fault. i hope you're happy.
okay, so maybe i sent along my own wishes to see a bit more of the white stuff... but still, never thought we'd have to use blow torches on the driveway once we got it. yikes!
hope you and all your lovely daughters are well and warm and, uh... safe (i heard about the terrible traffic jams throughout Pennsylvania. yowza.)
oh, and while i'm at it (and because i am an utter and complete maroon) HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY -- i'd love to blame the fact that this is so late on the bad weather/traffic, but i'm guessing that would be a bit of a stretch. xoxox
Yeah, our snow was really heavy and hard to deal with too.
I don't blame you. But I'm in Seattle ... and we had the ice and snow in January. It sucked. My 82 year old grandfather in Indiana is stuck in it, though. But he doesn't blame you either. He blames global warming. Heh. xoxo
Please don't ask for any more, and please, please don't ask for us to get it, okay?
I would hook myself up with one of those propane sidewalk torch things. Fire beats ice. No scraping away anything. Turn the ice to water, then water to steam. Let it fall again as snow on the neighbors yard.
I've fporgotten what snow looks like. We were promised but it never came. I blame the sea!
I think its the atheists' fault, generally.
Good Lordy Marie! That is a whole lot of snow/sleet,ice....! I don't know how you do it, my dear....There is no way I could manage the cold and all that snow anymore....! It was in the High 80's here today....almost 90 actually....THAT I can take! (lol)
glad to know i answered your wish, tlp....now, ya gotta quit HARPING on me for awhile, ok? ;-D
My husband used this snow and ice as an excuse to buy a mega-snow blower. Of course, he can't use it on this mess and I doubt we'll get much more snow this year but he had to have it.
The snow looked pretty, didn't it?
It is so pretty, but a mess. Ah well, the spring thaw will be here before we know it!
Hi Lucy...Thanks for the visit...And I wish you could be here too...We do have all kinds of "natural" diasters, but we are not having any at the momebt! (lol). It dropped twenty degrees from yesterday to today...Of course at night, it usually drops thirty degrees...Never have gotten used to that---and neither has my back! LOL!
Wow. That looks like a lot of snow. We thought we had a lot when it was just a few inches. Good for you to give a huge tip. Those snow guys are working hard. They deserve it.
