I'm offically old...I've got glasses

Yesterday I picked up my new glasses...reading glasses. The lens maker talked me into bifocals. That way I can do the crossword puzzle and watch TV at the same time...NOT! I hate them. They are progressives. You can't see the line. In fact, I'm having trouble seeing anything. Sigh.
They say that I will "get used to them." But I'm already "used to" holding the paper in just the correct spot to read everything just fine. These glasses make me dizzy. Plus they make me OLD.

Well... your four offspring managed to need glasses full-time when we were quite young! Your eyes have been good to you.

Yes, my eyes have been very good to me. I have quilt about not being able to pass on those good genes to my children.
