The doctor called to say that things are looking good for the brainy old guy! She (doctor) saved him 5 years ago from lung cancer, and we trust her. The PET shows no cancer. She cautions that there are false negatives, but we are very encouraged. Not sure yet what lies ahead for the kidney tumors. Maybe just keep watching them. Beats losing the kidney prematurely.

I am glad to hear things are well.
I just wanted to respond to your post on my BLOG. As it turns out, our family started attending the local UU congregation about a month ago. We felt it was a good compromise between a lapsed catholic and an avid atheist.
Anyway, thanks for your nice comments. I like yours. Hope "Brainy?" continues to do well.
