BTW, these fireworks are above the river at Harrisburg PA. There is no better place to watch fireworks than right here in South Central PA.
There is no better place to see fireworks than over the water, due to the great reflections. One year were in DC and saw them over the Potomac! Outstanding!

We can hear booms and pops constantly after dark from neighbors shooting crackers in their yard and in the alley and fields or vacant lots.

I heard booms, but alas did not have the fun of going with the fam to see them live.
