I'm not ready!

Hoo boy. It's almost Christmas and I'm not ready. Just finally hung a wreath today.

I do love Christmas lights and such, but I'm sooooo lazy!

I "adopt" a needy family each Christmas and I have at least finished that shopping. It's actually easier to shop for people you don't know.

Friends and I took a bus trip to Longwood Gardens last Friday. That place is beautiful all year, but at Christmas it is a really special treat.

They decorate to the max. But it's tasteful just the same.

I wish you could see it.

Everything you see here is a live plant, except for those fake birds.

In case I don't "talk" to you all before Christmas, I'll wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS now.

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas! Yeah, it IS a lot easier to buy for people you don't know. We should make it a rule that everybody must buy only for people they don't know. I bet peace would come to the earth in a minute!

I am all about excess to the point of bad taste when it comes to decorations.

A few years ago I decided to see how many strings of lights I could put in an office cubicle before I started a fire or started blowing fuses. Some 10 strings later I never did start any fires or blow any fuses - but I had a whole lot of light.

I also had a 22 inch fiber optic tree that would change colors. Someone else had a smaller tree that did not change colors.

I was going to get a string of lights that played the same music over and over and over to drive everyone else insane (I was actually required to be out of the cubicle more than I was in it) but since I wanted to not get fired I did not do that.

The boat parade is tomorrow. I am ready for it. The boat is all rigged up. I just need to wire in the power inverter and find out why my navigation lights decided to not work.

Have a great Christmas!!!

PS you missed the video I posted of the guy who attempts to jump into some very cold water. You really need to see that one. It is filed under "people unclear on the concept".
