The great questions

Radio Question of the Day:

How do dead bugs and flies get into a completely closed ceiling light fixture?

Boy howdy! At last an important question! I need the answer to this. How does anything get into an enclosed light fixture? Maybe it’s a trick question. Maybe the radio guy is gonna say that dead bugs don’t get in. Live ones do. That deejay.

Obviously the bugs were alive when they got in there. Well, I suppose elves could open up the fixture in the night and place dead bugs in there. Sneaky little suckers. But no. I think the flies and such are alive when they get in. I don’t believe in elves. Except for leprechauns of course.

Answer to the radio question of the day:

How the heck would we know???? We’re just deejays. We don’t even use our real names on the radio! You people! Get real. Ask someone smarter than you are! Ask your kids how these things happen.

BTW, I'm pretty sure it's magic.

Have you ever seen a dead bug in a closed light fixture?

Well, duh! Yes in deed! Do you ever take them down and clean them out?????

Some woman does that at your house, huh?

The eggs are put in there by the manufacturers, and they grow up and die thanks to the heat. This is easy when you know how.

Not only do I have no idea how the heck that happens, I don't even get the cartoon at the top. I think it is time for me to head home, 10 hours straight is quite enough thankuverymuch.

When they were making the light bulbs some larvae dropped in and the person making the light bulb had poor eyesight and didn't notice and then with the heat and all they hatched out.
They're coming to take me away today!

I've just seen Hoss's comment. Great minds think alike. Aint that the truth?

LOL. No Actonbell. That girl. I totally made it up as far as its being a radio question. The questions have been boring me lately, and I was in the shower, looked up and saw dead bugs in the fan/light fixture above the shower. 'Course, that's not hard to figure out, but any enclosed light fixture will eventually get dead flies/bugs, whatever. It's always annoyed me to hell and back.

TLP - no chicks take down my light fixtures and clean them.

I simply banned ALL fixtures from the place. In my place, a "light fixture" is a socket with a bulb stuck in it. No decorative thingie covering the bulb.

When the bulb burns out, I replace it.
