It ain't over yet

We had a very nice Christmas DAY, but the season isn't over yet. It goes all the way to January first. Make that January second. At least. Then there's all the football games. And more food.

We have more gatherings to attend. Yea!

By the time it's all over, we can all collectively sing. We can be the fat ladies and fat boys chorus.

But first, we all have to eat more stuff. Hope you're all still having fun. No workin', ya hear?
You guys.

  2. Happy to hear you had such a nice Christmas, and hope the rest of your time, until January 2nd is good as well.

See my post for today for my favorite passion this time of the year.

  4. No work till Thurs., then we take down all the Christmas decor we put up in Nov. and Dec. Lots of food, though, too much food. If I sing on 12-31, it will definitely be the fat lady's last one of the year!

  6. No working here, TLP. I'm off until January 4th. It's a rough life...

I had leftovers for breakfast and lunch today; I'm sure that's the plan for dinner, too. Then, we repeat tomorrow.

  7. I hope your Christmas weekend was nice. Ours was relaxing and fattening, as it should be. I think I ate ten frosted, sugar cookies. Yum-yum!
My parents and bro are due to arrive here soon. I'm killing time as I wait for them. They will be here with us until Friday. Hooray!!!

What if you LIKE your work? Then is it OK to work?

Also - no work = no pay = can't afford to buy more stuff for my two gifts to myself. I still need a bike rack and more PSP games.

Oh yea, I am at work right now. But it is slow, I am just answering phones and keeping up with my reports and stuff.

  10. Had a wonderful Christmas complete with mom's famous slow-cook briscuit and cream cheese mashed potatos. And tomorrow is back to work! Well, only for three days.

Merry Christmas to you and your family TLP. We are staying warm in sunny Florida...but headed to cooler weather today (don't want to get too spoiled).

Stay safe and enjoy the rest of your holiday.

  14. First of all. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Today's my last night at home as tomorrow...I'll be heading back to the city..and back to work, WaaaaH! On a lighter note, I had a eggs-cellent christmas. In an ideal world, I would have my holidays extended until after the new year and I would be lighter by 2 kilos. (Wishful thinking I know..)
