Just Another Manic Monday

Remember that song by the Bangles? I loved it.

I'm sittin' here waiting for the "install" of my kitchen counters and sink. Sure will be nice to have a sink in the kitchen.

Plumber butt I can live without.

But first the quartz counters will be installed. Then, the plumber will come and connect the new sink and faucet and all that good stuff.

Then I'll be free to let my mind wander over and around other things, like the tile for the backsplash, and new lighting, and the floor...

it has to be said, may as well be by me... that top picture totally cracks me up! (not a fan of the plumber's butt crack, either).

sounds like a happy day in the TLP household... that said, color me crazy, but i always thought the "kitchen sink" came last.

those silly old "everything, but the kitchen sink" sayings... ; )

LOL, LOL...I love both these cartoons, but that second one is really a Hoot!

I do not envy you going through this renovation....You are a braver person than me! I hope it ALL goes well, my dear.
I remember when my mother redid her whole kitchen....changing the conglomeration, etc...it took three times as long as they said and food was being cooked on a double hot plate, and dishes were being washed in the bathroom sink....Fun and a hakf!

Uh, TLP, we've known each other for a number of years now, and I feel it's time we had a serious gal to gal talk. TLP...Just Say No To Crack!

Oh and speaking of being free of bouncing brains, didja hear Bush's Brain is resigning - wootothehoo baby!

Do enjoy the new kitchen. If I know you, you'll be cooking and scouring it clean in no time. :)

tlp-i've found that all you really need in a kitchen is a freeer & a microwave, and a pack of paper plates!! well, and a fridge for pop!

I would love to be able to pluck my brain out every once in a while just to have a little peace.

I couldn't have lived another day with the kitchen sink Neva!

Not so much brave Naomi, as STUPID.

Sarah! Nice to see you!

I guess I will post a pix or two after it's all done Lime.

I thought that too Libby. But you just don't know how many times you reach for that water faucet!

Golden, I let mine out a lot. Little as it is, I just let it wander.

Manic Monday? I bet I can add that to my Iguana Music play list. $10 says I can. Any takers?

I think that to be in the plumber's union, you must display at least 3 inches of ass crack.

You ARE going to take a pic of the plumber when he comes, right? From the back, right? So we can see the crack, right?

EXCEPT I DON'T WANNA SEE NO BUTTCRACK EVER AGAIN, YOU HEAR ME?

How exciting!
New countertops and a new sink. If you've been bitten by the remodel bug, you might not be able to stop with just the kitchen. I hope you are happy with your new kitchen!!
I know one thing FOR SURE. I would not want anyone's crack two inches from my nose!!
What a hitonious display!!!
Pass the spackle, please!!

If it's stupid to put the sink in first, I don't want to be smart.

You know, I could have done the install when I was there. I was a construction plumber once.
