We're leaving tomorrow early to go to the 90th birthday party of an old, and I do mean old, friend. She lives in California. In addition to very dear old friends, we have some family still in California whom we will see.
We'll stay for a week in a hotel on the shore, as we say in the east, and plan to spend time on Catalina Island.
Last fall we went to Ocean City MD for a week and watched the sunrise over the Atlantic, and now we will be watching the sunset on the Pacific. Life's been good to me so far.
I'll leave you with MY questions of the day:
What’s the speed of dark?
And
How much deeper would the ocean be without sponges?
Please. I need to know.

Because of the forces of witchcraft, the speed of dark is the same speed as light. To fully understand that you need to be a green faced, hooked nose, big ugly mole growing hair on your face witch.

We need more sponges. A LOT more sponges. Otherwise when the sea ice melts and the ocean levels rise I will need a larger boat.

Speed of dark is too fast. Have a lovely holiday and a big kiss for the 90 yr old. We are having 2 nights in Weymouth for my birthday - which doesn't have the same ring to it somehow!

ReplyDeleteAs for the questions....well....I don't know the answers! I'll guess that it's (dark) about the same as light!
The ocean would be the same depth without the sponges! There might be less water if the sponges were gone but the depth should be the same. Okay......so much for my wisdom!!
