And the winner is....
Those Oscars aren't all that. The really important awards are for best husband.
Great pictures TLP! I think the Greece guy should have a boot up his behind. That is some load she has on her back and him just strolling along with one hand in his pocket and smoking with the other! I'd put that load down and get one of those branches and beat him with it.
Reminds me of a time after hurricane Charley knocked down most of the oak trees on my property. One in particular had fallen across the road. I looked out of my window and saw the grandma from across the street with a chainsaw cutting up the tree limbs as John stood in the driveway talking to her husband.
So funny, TLP. That remindes me of my in-laws. My FIL is a very tall, large man. My MIL, a short, tiny thing. She's always carrying their bags be it shopping or travelling. What a site it is.
I enjoyed...enjoy the Irish husband picture a lot:)Consider myself lucky then I didn't get hitched whilst studying there:) Hahah gosh lugging the crate of guinness:)
It reminds me of a place my ex-husband used to live. It was a large apartment complex with over 250 families. It was mostly asian. The Indian men were notorious for not doing any manual labor (it was traditional?) so it wasn't unusual to see women doing all the heavy lifting during a move. We once saw one carrying out her broken refrigerator, as hubby stood by "supervising" and smoking a cig.
Women are strong. Maybe they wanted to carry the stuff. Maybe it was an equal relationship and they were taking turns. Not sure about the cage, though.
Great pictures, TLP. That's pretty funny!

ReplyDeleteSomebody's got to carry the beer... at least he (are you sure that's a guy?) is holding her hand. Brownie points for that one.
ReplyDeleteWell maybe she drinks a lot and he says for her to carry her own! ;)
ReplyDeleteYour so clever. Now let's see a tribute to the Olympics...
