What I learned today

I said that I was going to learn something every day. So here's what I learned today.

It takes forty pigs to make four thousand sausages.

Isn't it amazing what you can teach them?

Huh, see, I learned something here. I didn't know pigs could make sausages. Your blog is so edu-ma-cational. But who's going to eat all those sausages?

  15. And we humans think we all are so f-different. Even pigs live in different stables, eating different food and follow differetn paths.
40 pigs for 4.000 sausages? Germany must have many pigs, we love sausages.

  18. I think the sadder part of all of this is that I am actually learning something. You can't really underestimate the power of knowing the history behind your breakfast food.

  19. I hate sausage. And try to go with as little meat as possible in my diet... because I've learned how meats are processed and it just ain't pretty. If I have to choose, I go with slabs of meat over anything that's ground up, cuz you just don't know what's in there... :P
