Just five days* update-Just 2 days now

It's just two days until that silly ground hog makes his forcast for the rest of the winter. So you know that spring is close.

Niks and I will go to Punxsutawney on Tuesday, and stay until at least Thursday afternoon, and possibly Friday. Depends on how much fun we can find.

I'll check on blogs when I can, but I won't post until next weekend.

Watch for me on TV. I'll be the one in twenty layers of clothing.

  1. Say hi to Punxsutawney Bill from all of us.

Do they let that poor little guy wake up on his own on the day of his choosing, or do they just drag him out on a specific day 'cause humans have the press and TV cameras scheduled?

    Have fun!

  3. Thanks T & I! I plan to.

Hi Hale McKay! Haven't seen you in a long time.

Little Bar: Yeah, ain't it the truth.

Joared: They drag him out. But they really are nice to him the rest of the year.

Keith: Let me know when you go to that one. Wave to me.

ActonBell: I hear that there's a LOT of beer consumed. No problem finding fun.

Strange tradition methinks. Mind, I come from a country where we celebrate a failed attempt to blow up parliament with fireworks and burning effigies of a bloke called Guy :)

  8. I loved the movie: "Groundhog Day". I think it was Bill Murray. How many hundreds of years has this animal been alive now? Must be a decendant or something of the original PHIL by now?!

  14. Have a wonderful and hopefully warm time, TLP! Could you do me a favor and wave with your right hand? It'll be our secret wave and when I see it I'll say that's the famous TLP waving to me! :)

  22. I'm kind of jealous. But hey. Here's a question. If the little rodent's hole is surrounded by tall people with cameras and LIGHTS, isn't he gonna see his shadow everytime????

Although I don't think you can use fasting as a diet or weight loss program, I do feel that it can be a great start to a proper weight loss diet and exercise program. I think it is definitely something that everyone should do at least once a year.

I think you went so you didn't have to watch the State Of The Union address. Very clever.
